Deckers Brands | Associate Graphic Designer for UGG | January 2022 - Present
Designed and executed consumer-centric branded materials for the Global Brand Marketing Team – including sales collateral, catalogs, advertising, e-commerce web design, social posts, homepage features, and emails that led to improved brand reputation and increased product sell-through.
Re-designed the branded Global Brand Marketing presentation template and worked with brand leadership to design Board of Director presentation template — used across all global brand teams including APAC, EMEA, North America, and Canada.
Created thoughtful and engaging designs across campaigns, social media, and packaging projects to showcase brand aesthetic.
Collaborated with purpose, copy, and design teams to create clear and concise layouts celebrating UGG’s brand purpose-driven product launches including the Classic Mini Regenerate and Tasman Regenerate.
Updated the UGG Mainline Insert Card that goes into every UGG Shoe Box effectively reduced the cost per card from $0.04 to $0.02 resulting in close to $200,000 per year in savings for all production.
Conceptualized packaging designs encompassing all product categories and co-branded collaborations including the evergreen AW22 and AW23 Journey’s store Visual Merchandising displays spanning 868 total Journeys and 225 Journeys Kidz stores across North America and Canada.
Oversaw and took over key brand footwear and lifestyle packaging projects for collaborations with TELFAR, Shane Oliver, Collina Strada, Madhappy, Sesame Street, Opening Ceremony, STAMPD, Feng Chen Wang, The Elder Statesman, and Gallery Department – working with the Collaboration Project Manager to incorporate UGG’s luxurious production touches while maintaining the brand’s signature aesthetic within the limited edition packaging launched in collaboration with these iconic brands.
Worked with my manager, photography teams, and collaboration project manager to create Packaging Guidelines Document which improved the packaging collaboration design process breaking down the material options for insert cards, tissue papers, and shoe boxes ranging from simple to elevated.
